  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and half the chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in remaining chocolate chips, nuts, and marshmallows.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool before cutting into squares.
