  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Add egg and mix well.
  3. Gradually stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized cookie dough onto baking sheets, flatten slightly, add about one teaspoon of cheesecake filling in the center, then cover with more cookie dough.
