  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Season steak with Cajun seasoning and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic; sauté for 1 minute. Add chicken broth and honey; simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss cooked fettuccine in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  6. Serve topped with sliced steak and garnish with extra honey or parsley.
