  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and spices until smooth.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add brown sugar and heavy cream; stir continuously until it reaches a gentle boil and thickens slightly (about 2 minutes).
  4. Pour half of the pumpkin mixture into the baking dish, drizzle with half of the caramel sauce, then add the remaining pumpkin mixture on top. Swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until set. A toothpick should come out mostly clean from the center. Drizzle with remaining caramel before serving.
