  • 1 cup fresh apple cider
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine apple cider, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, thyme, and cinnamon; whisk until blended.
  4. Pour half of the glaze over the chicken; reserve the other half.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Serve hot, drizzled with reserved glaze.
