  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, mix black pepper and salt; toss chicken in the seasoning until coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Remove chicken; sauté garlic in the same skillet until fragrant. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch mixed with cold water, and chicken broth. Stir well.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet; toss to coat in the sauce and heat through for about 3–5 minutes.
