  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz medium shell pasta
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Add olive oil to the skillet, then sear the steak bites for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and keep warm.
  3. In a pot, boil salted water and cook shell pasta until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine, then gradually add shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Toss cooked pasta and seared steak into the sauce until well coated. Serve immediately.
