  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice (unsweetened)
  • 10 whole cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a large roasting pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Score the ham in diamond patterns, about half an inch deep.
  3. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, pineapple juice, and whole cloves. Heat over medium until blended and bubbling.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the scored ham; reserve the rest for basting.
  5. Place ham in the roasting pan, cover loosely with foil, and bake for approximately 1 hour per pound, basting every 30 minutes.
  6. Remove foil in the last 30 minutes to caramelize. Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
