  • 1 cup cooked Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 1 cup bell peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  3. In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage until browned, then add bell peppers and sauté until tender. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  4. Spread the sausage and pepper mixture evenly over the dough; top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log shape and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Place the Stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and cut slits on top for steam escape. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
