Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and mix until creamy. Gradually add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and optional nuts until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of cookie dough onto lined sheets. Create an indentation in each ball and fill with about a teaspoon of cream cheese filling before covering lightly with more dough.
