Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup whole milk, warmed to 110°F
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly. Stir in melted butter, sugar, and salt. Gradually add flour to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  3. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the surface; sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar mixture followed by chopped strawberries.
  4. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into equal pieces. Place slices in a greased baking dish and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
