  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 8 oz lasagna sheets, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until onions are translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes and chicken broth. Season with salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
