Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté green and red bell peppers along with the onion until soft and caramelized (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat.
  3. In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed and increase heat to medium-high. Add the thinly sliced beef, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; cook until browned but not fully cooked through (about 4-5 minutes).
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with sautéed vegetables and cooked beef; stir well.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Serve hot.
