  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for about 5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft.
