  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, combine cooked spaghetti and softened cream cheese until well-coated.
  5. Layer half of the spaghetti mixture in the baking dish, followed by half of the meat mixture and one cup of mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
