Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the cocoa powder until smooth and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until well combined. Gradually add the melted butter-cocoa mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.
  4. Sift together the flour and a pinch of salt, then fold into the wet ingredients gently until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in half of the fresh raspberries into the batter. Pour into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle remaining raspberries on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs attached. Let cool before slicing.
