  • 2 cups green or Napa cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili paste (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the Pork: Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut into chunks. Place in a slow cooker with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook on low for 6 hours until tender.
  2. 2. Cook the Noodles: Boil water in a large pot. Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. 3. Make the Cabbage Slaw: In a bowl, combine sliced cabbage with rice vinegar. Toss well; add chili paste if desired.
  4. 4. Assemble the Bowl: Shred cooked pork in the slow cooker using two forks. In serving bowls, layer noodles first, followed by shredded pork and top with cabbage slaw.
  5. 5. Serve: Drizzle additional soy sauce or sesame oil over each bowl if desired.
