  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in diced strawberries and spoon dollops of cream cheese into the dough.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart. Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Cool on baking sheets for five minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
