  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Cook rigatoni in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with onions and garlic until cooked through; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, then combine with rigatoni and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Layer half of the rigatoni mixture in the baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella, then add the rest of the rigatoni mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
