  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth for the filling. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared sheets. Make an indentation in each and fill with cheesecake mixture before topping with more dough.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Let cool on sheets for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
