  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuits (16 oz each)
  • 1 pound ground beef or sausage
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in diced bell peppers and onions until softened.
  3. Cut each biscuit into quarters and fold them into the meat mixture along with pizza sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and spread evenly. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool for five minutes before serving.
