  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Asiago cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, dried herbs, and half of the Asiago cheese until combined.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and sprinkle remaining Asiago on top.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
