  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 cup white or brown rice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice: Rinse 1 cup of rice under cold water, then combine with 2 cups of water or broth in a pot. Bring to a boil, cover, and cook on low heat for 18-20 minutes until tender.
  2. Sauté garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 3 tbsp of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook shrimp: Add 1 lb of shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Make the sauce: Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and stir in 2 tbsp lemon juice. Simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
