Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Stir in melted butter.
  2. In another bowl, whisk flour and salt; gradually add to wet ingredients to form dough.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth. If sticky, sprinkle with more flour.
  4. Fold in cranberries and orange zest until evenly mixed.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Punch down dough, shape into a loaf, place in greased pan, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. Cool before slicing.
