Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 20 gyoza wrappers (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 4 green onions, chopped (divided)
  • 4 oz ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.
  2. In a large pot, combine chicken stock, soy sauce, minced ginger, and half the green onions. Bring to a boil; then reduce heat and simmer.
  3. In another pan, heat oil over medium heat. Cook gyoza wrappers until golden on one side, then add water to steam them. Cover until water evaporates.
  4. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions; drain well.
  5. In serving bowls, layer cooked ramen noodles first, followed by hot broth, sliced chicken, and gyoza.
