Ingredients
Scale
7 oz ramen noodles
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
14 g gyoza wrappers (about 20 wrappers)
1 cup finely shredded cabbage
2 green onions, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken Filling: Finely chop the chicken thighs and mix with shredded cabbage, minced garlic, and sliced green onions in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Gyoza: Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center of each gyoza wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold over to create a half-moon shape, and seal.
Cook the Gyoza: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry gyoza until golden brown on one side. Add enough water to cover the bottom of the skillet, cover immediately, and steam until cooked through.
Prepare Ramen Broth: Boil chicken stock or water in another pot; add soy sauce and chopped garlic. Simmer for five minutes.
Cook Ramen Noodles: Add ramen noodles to boiling broth according to package instructions (about three minutes) until tender but firm.
Serve: In bowls, place cooked noodles topped with broth and arrange fried gyoza on top. Garnish with extra green onions.
