Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle active dry yeast on top and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add olive oil, salt, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually mix in all-purpose flour until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Transfer dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. After rising, punch down the dough to release air bubbles. Divide it into equal portions and shape each into muffin-sized balls.
  7. Place shaped muffins on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cover with a towel to rise again for about 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake muffins for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown.
