Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour (420g)
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup warm water (240ml, about 110°F/43°C)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (25g)
  • 1 tsp salt (6g)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (56g)
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (10g)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix warm water and sugar; sprinkle yeast on top. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. Meanwhile, melt butter and let it cool slightly.
  2. 2. Mix Ingredients: Once yeast is activated, add melted butter, salt, rosemary, garlic, and half of the flour. Stir until combined; gradually add remaining flour until a sticky dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the Dough: Transfer dough to a floured surface; knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Let It Rise: Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm area for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Shape the Rolls: Punch down the risen dough gently; divide into equal pieces and shape into balls. Arrange in a greased baking dish.
  6. 6. Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover shaped rolls with a cloth and let rise again for about 30 minutes. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
