Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz medium shell pasta
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Cut steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Mince the garlic.
  2. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water and cook shell pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  3. Sear the Steak: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tbsp butter. Sear steak in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned but not fully cooked. Remove from skillet.
  4. Make the Sauce: Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter, then sauté minced garlic for one minute. Pour in heavy cream while stirring.
  5. Combine Everything: Add cooked pasta back to the skillet along with reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Stir in steak and Parmesan until well coated.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Plate your dish hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
