  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Slice the flank steak into thin strips and chop the bok choy into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and ginger.
  2. Heat the pan: In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil until shimmering.
  3. Cook the beef: Sear the sliced beef in a single layer for 2-3 minutes until browned. Flip and cook for another minute until just done; remove from pan.
  4. Stir-fry bok choy: Add garlic and ginger to the same pan; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Toss in bok choy and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until wilted but still bright green.

  6. Finish with sesame oil: Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry before serving and toss again.
